Yeshiva Gedolah Ohr Hatorah

Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Chayim Nitzlich
Yeshiva Gedolah Ohr Hatorah, we strengthen in each talmid a love for Torah and Yiddishkeit, while building learning skills that were previously unharnessed. Many of our students have been unable to find their place in conventional yeshivos. For over 30 years, Rabbi Nitzlach and his dedicated staff have created a place where they find acceptance and love; a safe harbor in which to rebuild self-esteem; a place to grow. Within the Yeshiva, our rebbeim and teachers share a common approach; the focus is on connecting with each talmid individually and harvesting his unique strengths. The large number of Ohr HaTorah graduates that have moved on to successful experiences in higher-level yeshivos, speaks eloquently of the yeshiva's ability to work effectively with students from complex home situations and diverse background. Our alumni have gone on to build productive lives as Torah-committed individuals in all walks of life. Several have assumed leadership roles in some of the leading educational institutions of their communities. The love and dedication for Torah and Yiddishkeit that they absorbed from their rebbeim in Ohr HaTorah have now become the hallmarks of their own efforts for the Klal.
