Chesed 247

Chesed 24/7 provides extensive and innovative services to the sick, the elderly, the developmentally disabled, and any individual or family facing a life challenge. Chesed 24/7’s philosophy is that no individual or family should be without food, shelter, and emotional support – no individual should ever feel alone. We remain firmly dedicated to providing assistance whenever and wherever we can – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – like family.

Chesed Hospitality Rooms - Your Home in the Hospital

Chesed Hospitality Rooms are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year offering patients and families a small piece of home in the hospital. Chesed 24/7 is available - 24/7 - to make sure that you are never alone. Located in various hospitals in the New York Tri State area, Chesed 24/7 Hospitality Rooms consist of a room or suite of rooms equipped with a refrigerator, kosher cakes and snacks, prepackaged meals and soups, coffee, milk, yogurt, ice cream, and other dairy products, comfortable chairs or recliners, Jewish reading materials, tapes and other sources of inspiration, Shabbos food warmers and any other amenities a Jewish individual would require. More importantly, it offers a quiet place where family members can sit and relax, or receive emotional support from others in similar circumstances. A Chesed 24/7 representative frequents the rooms to interact with patients and their families, offering guidance, support and additional assistance with any issues that may arise.
